Update: 3rd February 2009
SNOW SNOW SNOW
Well it’s time for another update I think. The snow is falling and is thicker than I have seen since I was about 6 years old lol
I’ve been busy painting over the last few weeks and I have a number of new minis in my 40K gallery to show you. The Masters of the Chapter are all now complete. I have also added an Imperial Fist Whirlwind to the gallery at the bottom of my ‘painting imperial fist yellow’ tutorial page so make sure you take a look at that!
Earlier today I added my latest mini a Chaplain from the mighty Iron Snakes chapter.
The next EM painting competition has been announced recently and the deadline is the 28th February with the theme - The Ruinous Powers! I have got something special planned for that so keep an eye out for that around the end of the month.
In the meantime I am working on a heavily converted Grey Knight Dreadnought from FW, the new Sicarius mini and a Chaos Lord on Juggernaut (that model is so cool!)
There are some superb minis being released from GW over the next few months; Lizardmen, Ork Stompas, Space Wolf Collectors minis, new cadians the list is endless and I can't wait.
I managed to pick up a one of my all time favourite minis from eBay this morning - Adeptus Arbities Commander. I have always loved the mini and I will be painting him up soon to add to my personal collection.
I am hoping to make my way up to the Studio open day in Nottingham this month, I missed it last year but this year I am determined to go.
I’ve started thinking about my Golden Demon entries for this year; well I’ve been scribbling ideas down on a piece of paper as the pop into my head anyway. I decided last year that this year I would enter a few of the categories instead of putting all my energy into one entry. I’ll keep you updated as the projects progress. I want to do a lot of practice minis this year before I start on the real entries so keep an eye out for them over the coming months.
Well that’s all for this update!
Wil :)
