Update: 28th September 2009

Well. it's been a while since my last update and as it was Games Day UK yesterday I thought today would be a great point to give you all an update. I entered two categories this year; Single 40K Mini and Duel. I've uploaded photos of them to my galleries now so make sure you have a look. They are also on my CMON gallery too. I'm pleased to announce that my Duel entry - Striking Scorpion vs Daemonette of Slaanesh took Gold in its category, which I am over the moon about. My first ever trophy. I was really shocked as all I've been reading over the last few months was how tough a category it was going to be this year so I wasn't holding out much hope. In fact a week ago I had decided to drop the duel entry as I was running out of time. A big thanks to the person who gave me a kick up the backside to get it done. After a solid week of 1:00am finishes I finally finished it in the early hours of Saturday morning, the day before the competition... Phew!! My single mini entry - Captain Antonius Vincenzi of the 9th Blood Angel Company sadly didn't place but I got another shiny pin badge which is always good (at least I know I am in the right ball park) :) The captain is up for grabs in the 'items for sale' section on my site so if you like the look of him go over and take a look! After years of waiting I finally picked up a box of the new Space Wolves minis. They are AMAZING!!!!! The 'Eavy Metal painted Space Wolves in the cabinets up at GD yesterday were stunning. They are a talented bunch of guys! Keep an eye out on my 'about me' page in the next month or so as I start to update my personal Space Wolf army gallery. You'll be able to watch as my army grows from my first Grey Hunter Pack... god those minis are sweeeeeeeeeeet! A big thank you to everyone who bought plinths from Voodooworx for their GD entries, it was nice to see my plinths in the cabinets. There will be more designs released over the next few weeks so watch out for that! ‘Til next time! Wil :)
